The Six Steps to Beautiful, Natural SkinThe Skincare AntiAging Ritual is a series of steps to cleanse, hydrate, tone and absorb impurities from the skin, as well as protect it.
First, use Cleansing Lotion to remove eye makeup, foundation or powder and/or Foaming Facial Cleanser to remove surface impurities. The Foaming Facial Cleanser's plastic container makes it ideal for use in the shower. Be sure not to use the Foaming Facial Cleanser around your eyes, where skin is even more sensitive.
Foaming Facial Cleanser is a mild, non-drying formulation which deep cleanses, purifies and balances the skin with Tea Tree and Lavender Oils. It does not disrupt the natural pH of your skin, as many soaps will do.
Second, choose one of six Aromatic Hydrating Concentrates (AHCs) to pre-soak the skin and prepare it for deep cleansing. This takes just a minute of splashing your face with warm water from the basin, containing just a few drops of the highly concentrated AHC. These water-soluble essential oils contain individual herbal extracts that have been specially selected to assist in treating different skin conditions. AHCs balance, stimulate, harmonize and hydrate the skin, while softening dead skin cells and preparing the skin for deeper cleansing action in the next step. Many users find that the fragrance often can help relax tight neck muscles and help relieve or prevent headaches.
(Secret use: I personally use AHCs in my hot tub as well-just a little goes a very long way and creates the most delicious fragrance! Try them in your bath for variety, or enjoy Jurlique's Tranquil, Vibrance or Romance Bubble Baths or Bath Oils instead. The oils and bubble baths are not for hot tub use!)
Third step, use the Face Wash Cream, which smells good enough to eat for breakfast. Jurlique Face Wash Cream has a gentler, safer action than fruit and glycolic acid peels. This organic, natural product is an excellent exfoliant, removing dead skin cells while leaving healthy skin replenished. A deep cleanser, the Face Wash Cream unclogs pores, drawing out and absorbing excess toxins, sebum and impurities. Its main ingredient, oat bran, has high silica content and is healing, calming and cleansing. By pressing the cream gently on the face, nourishing OPC's (natural anti-oxidants that scavenge free radicals) are absorbed back into the skin.
After applying it gently to your face, press it in with a warm, damp washcloth that you've dipped into your AHC water. NEVER rub the Face Wash Cream into your face's sensitive skin. Never scrub the skin no matter what your mother told you!

Fourth, rinse your face with warm water and then a cold rinse or cold compress.
For the fifth step, mist your face with Pure Rosewater Freshener, Day Care Conditioner or Floral Water (during the day) or Herbal Recovery Mist at night.
Day Care Conditioner is a toner and conditioner, especially suited for normal to oily skins. Refreshing, cooling and revitalizing, it assists in maintaining the skin's moisture balance. It also makes a wonderful aftershave for men.
Sixth and final step, depending upon your skin type, use any of the following for daytime wear: Herbal Recovery Gel, Day Care Face Lotion, Day Care Face Cream or Wrinkle Softener Beauty Cream, plus Eye Gel-which truly performs miracles on dark under eye circles-ask any young mother or anyone with challenged sleep!
For use day and night, the Eye Gel is light and extremely concentrated (only a tiny amount goes a LONG way, so your container will last, literally, for months). This potent herbal antioxidant gel helps reduce puffiness and dark circles while gently firming the delicate eye area, thereby diminishing the visible signs of aging. Jurlique Eye Gel is soothing, refreshing, anti-allergenic and non-irritating and suits all skin types. It's the perfect early morning 'wake up call' for tired eyes and provides a quick pick-me-up during the day before important meetings or other engagements.
