Today I'm putting Estee Lauder's Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Foundation (doesn't that just roll off the tongue?) to the test. I think it's fair to say I'm a fan of the Double Wear Range - Double Wear Light is a long time favourite of mine, and although I find the original formula to be a bit heavy for my taste, I can objectively see that it's an amazing foundation for oily peeps like myself. So I have high hopes for the Nude Water Fresh and it seems you are all very curious to hear my thoughts on this one as it's easily the most requested review I've had for a long time.  Esteelauder double wear nude I love how the serum-like texture just melts into my skin and evens everything out. It feels super light yet velvety soft to the touch and more like skincare than foundation. I applied this with my fingers and the finish is very perfected but natural looking. It is softly radiant which I love. I think this is going to be a winner and great for summer with its SPF30 and super long wear.

NUDESTIX “No Edit, No Filter, Just Glam” …

Even though on first glance it might look like the two foundations are very similar, just different versions of each other, that is not the case at all. In fact, they might as well not have called the Nude a Double Wear as it is quite a different product. Perhaps this was a marketing decision because the original Double Wear has an established market already? Who knows but one thing is clear, the two foundations are not similar at all, neither ingredient-wise or function-wise. In fact, the Nude is only 45% or less, similar to the original Double Wear. Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Makeup Foundation SPF 30 - 4N2 Spiced Sand We recommend shade 2C3 Fresco for light plus or light medium skin tones with pink, moderately pink undertones.
